1. What ages do you teach?

You are never too old to learn. We have students of all ages. We have more than one retiree who started playing late in life who have become proficient musicians. For young students, they should be old enough to participate in a half and hour private lesson.

2. Where are the lessons taught?

NOVA Music Center provides both private and group lessons in our Manassas store studio at and private only in Clifton, VA.

3. Do I have to have an instrument to take lessons?

Yes, you must supply your own instrument of your lesson.  (Ok, you don’t need to bring a piano, we have those.)  If you do not have an instrument you can rent one from NOVA Music Center.  Monthly rentals start at $16.95.

4. What if I need to reschedule a lesson?

Lessons reschedule on a timely basis (minimum 48 hours before lesson time) can be made up or rescheduled at the teachers’ convenience.

5. What happens if I miss a lesson?

Lessons cancelled late or without a call cannot be rescheduled and payment is required.

6. What if I need to discontinue lessons?

A student may discontinue lessons at any time.

7. When is payment required?

Payment is required by the first lesson of the month.  Payment can be made monthly either in cash, check, money order, credit card, or autopay.

8.   What are the teacher qualifications at NOVA Music Center?

Our instructors have been hand-picked for their high standard of musical excellence and love of teaching.

9.    Can I choose my teacher?

We are more than happy to work with you to find the most compatible match in musical expectations, personality, and teaching style.  The goal at NOVA Music Center is to make learning enjoyable and productive. You may change teachers at anytime.
